My Working Day

First, let me introduce myself. My nmae is Natalia. I am a pupil of
the 11th form. This year I will finish school. I associate my working day
with my school day, because school is our second home. This year I want to
enter the University. That is why I paid special attention to mathematics
and physicss. I work very hard and feel tired.
I want to tell about my usual day. It starts at 7 o'clock in the
morning. I regularly do my morning exercises. Then I take a cold shower
and have breakfast. Then I put on my coat, take my bag and leave home at
8.10. the lessons begin at 8.30. I attend school every day.
We study different subjects at school, such as physics, chemistry,
biology, literature and others. I think it is important for a pupil to
operate a computer. The lessons are over at 2 or 3 o'clock in yhe
afternoon. But I rarely go home at once. Our classmates are very friendly.
We are given brilliant opportunites to go in for sports, to take part in
many different competitions.
After school I go home. I have a lot to do eveery day. But first of
all I have dinner.
Our family like to spend evenings together. After supper we discuss
our everyday problems. Sometimes my parents are busy to go out. The other
days friends come to see me. We watch films or listen to music together.
This final year at school was very hard. But I finally believe that
school was a very good time in my life. Now you can see that I am really
very busy. My working day starts at 7 a.m. and ends at 11 p.m.. But in
spite of that I am happy.

My Birthday

I have my birthday on the 28th of March. My birthday is a very
remerkable day for me. It is spring, the weather is fine. It is warm. In
the morning my parents come to my place and say: "Happy Birthday!" Thay
give me preents. I enjoy to get them. I usually have my birthday party at
home. My parents, relations and I prepare for this day. We invite my
friends and relatives to the party on Sunday.
I get up early in the morning. My father goes to the shop and to the
market to buy something he needs for the party. My mother and I stay at
home. We clean the flat, make cakes, set the table and wait for the
guests. At 17 o'clock my friends come to congratulate me and I am glad to
see them.
They bring flowers, sweets, books or birthday presents. I thank my
friends.
We have got a good holiday dinner on this day. Mother and I bring a
cake with 17 candles on it, because this year I am 17. My friends sing the
song "Happy Birthday to You" and I clow all the candles out. During a gay
party we sing songs, dance, make jokes and soeak about our life.
Later we go to the disco, where we dance. I enjoy my birthday party.
My friends like this day too.

A day in my life

All my life consists of ordinary weeks, which consists of ordinary
days. But one day in my life was really special. It was in spring holiday,
on Saturday.
After school my friend and I went to the wonderful place - Balaklava.
There was so beautiful. Ruins of ancient towers and many birds arround it.
The blue sky with white clouds makes unforgetable impression. We lay on
the green grass looking into the sky and imagine what animal reminded this
or that cloud. Near us there are mountains, which are like in Scotland
covered by grass and a quiet blue sea. We are looking to the sunset and
apeaking bout nature. He tells me his poems and I feel myself so happy.
But now we all know, all good is finished very fast and
unfortunatelly this day is over too. But certainly, I will be remembering
this one day in my life for a very long time.

My day

At first the day began like all other days. I was in a bad mood.
First of all I broke my favourite vase, secondly, I forgot to wash up
and my grandmother was angry. And at last my boyfriend rang me and sa-
id that he didn't love me anymore. I dressed and went for a walk to
forget all my poblems. I was wandering along the street and saw a
small bar. Of course, I dropped in and sat down at the table. I was
eating ice-cream when I saw a young man sitting opposite me. He looked
at me and smiled. Then he took his glass and sat down at my table. We
went for a drive in his car. Then he asked me to marry him, and I ag-
reed. After that we went to the church where all our relatives were
waiting for us. All people were in wonderful clothes. The boy prepared
to kiss me... and I woke up. But I understand that my wedding would be
my unforgetable day in my life.

My day

Day is a little part of life and that's why it's interesting to
take at motion of each day. But I think that the majority of my days
is too trivial for this essay. I decide to describe one of the unusual
days of my spring holiday.
First of all, of course, I woke up at 9 o'clock and had a morning
toilet. Than I ate my breakfast, and at 10.30 I went for a walk for an
a hour. After my airing I started to do some tasks for Moscow Univer-
sity's preparative courses. I msde it for few hours with break for
dinner. At last I finished (it was at 16.00) and heard very hard music
for an hour. In total I think this day was very productive for diffe-
rent engagement, found with income to university. But all interesting
event will be later on having listened too. After hearing music I
watched TV and read monography about Japan. Ant at 18.00 I went for a
walk with mmy good friend. It was great! At first we tended to down-
town, where we wanted to drink coffee free of charge, but our plans
were frosted, because waitress cheated us. After than we (in good mo-
od) moved to a district of Central Supermarket and Menshikov Street,
were we bought a beer and continued a feast. We spent time very nice
and, believe me, had many adventures. I don't want to describe their
in details, because it is not very cultural, but I can say that the
last of them was a visiting of the Satan's city.
We came back home at 11 o'clock...
I'll never forget this day...

A Day in My Life

A special day in my life was my birthday. It was one of the best days in my life. Everybody likes to celebrate it. It is a good opportunity to spend time with friends, parents and relatives.

I was born on the 28th of January. In the morning of my birthday my parents left the presents near my bed. I had my birthday party in the evening. My mother baked a cake. At last our guests came. I had got a lot of flowers and presents. While having a tasty and pleasant dinner, we talked a lot. When My mom brought the birthday cake, I blew the candles out, thinking about my sacred wish, which I hope will come true. Such was my birthday in the passing millennium.

My wonderful day

The most wonderful day I still remember was my birthday. All my friends and relatives were invited. I helped my mother to cook different dishes for a festive dinner. We put our best table-cloth on the table.

When all my guests had come, they congratulated me, wishing good luck and health. After that my guests, my family and I sat at the festive table. Everybody was delighted because of the dishes my mother and I had cooked ourselves.

When I was sure that my guests were not hungry any more J, I suggested them to play in my room. How wonderful it was! We played hide-and-seek, leap-frog and many other games. We even “opened” our own club of top models.

When my birthday party was over, I thanked my guests for their presents, attention and their kind hearts. I wished them to have life full of merriments.

I will never forget my last birthday party!

A sunny Birthday

It was a sunny March day. It was a special day for me as it was my Birthday. The weather was wonderful. I was 12 years old. I invited a lot of my friends to my party. In the evening we gathered together in my flat. My friends gave me many useful presents. There were a lot of tasty foods on the holiday table. We had a lot of fun! We played many different games and we also played computer games. We watched TV.

That evening was one of the best evenings in my life. My relatives gave me a very nice present, too. I still remember that evening but soon it will be my 13th birthday, so I think it will be as interesting and happy as the previous one.

My theatrical day

One day our theatrical studio “Mosaics” had a concert at the Drama Theatre. I am a participant of the music group “Impressia”. We were to sing Christmas songs. I was dressed in a black magnificent dress with golden stars on it. I also had a golden mask and a silver wig. It was the costume of a Fairy Night. I think my costume was the most beautiful in the party! We had a carnival lottery. Long before the beginning I was sure that I should have a lucky ticket. The number of my ticket was 81 and I WON a prize. It was a calculator. After that I wished happiness to everybody and continued enjoying the party.

Spring picnic day

We know the most of the people in our town work 5 days a week, and on Saturday many of us have supplementary occupations. So we have one day off only.

On one of such Sundays I woke up later than usually because I didn’t have to hurry anywhere. At first I read a morning newspaper and listened o the music. As soon as I finally was awakened I aired my room, made my bed and did some morning exercises. Then I had my breakfast. Two more hours – and I was free with my homework. After that I phoned my friends to discuss our plans for the rest of the day. We decided to go on a spring picnic to the countryside, where my grandparents lived. I asked my father to bring us there.

The place, which we had chosen, was situated near the river and the forest. The picnic was really terrific, because we did a lot of different cool things. We had an excellent opportunity to

admire the beauty of nature, to run on the soft green grass, to play funny games, to have a bite without observing table manners. The most exciting event was making a fire. My friends and I are fond of collecting wood in the forest and sitting round the fire. When the picnic was over, we came back to the town and went to the cinema to see the film about life of our teenagers abroad. On the way home we were discussing the film we had seen. In the evening all the members of our family got together. We had our supper, made plans for the next day and watched TV. When I had been already in my bed I thought “What a wonderful day I had!”

A very hot but pleasant day

I don’t remember for sure when that day was, but I think it was last summer. It was a very hot but pleasant day. My family decided to go to our summerhouse. When we arrived at the place, we began to work. My brother and I watered fruit trees and vegetables from watering cans. My mother picked up cucumbers and tomatoes. My father made chairs and a table with the help of his tools. When all the work had been done, my family went to the forest. It was so lovely there! The air was clean and fresh. Then we came to a lake. We began fishing there. Suddenly three little mice came up to the lake. They didn’t see us. The mice drank some water and began eating nuts, which they had found near the lake. It was a fantastic sight, I must say! It was a special day in my life – watching wild tiny creatures so close to me!

My birthday party

I want to write about one day in from life. I shall write about my birthday party, which was very special for me.

I have my birthday on the 25th of January, but it was Thursday, and usually on Thursdays I have lessons at school. So In had my birthday party on the 28th of January, as it was Sunday. I invited my friends to my party. A celebration started at 12.30 in the noon. When all the guests were at my home, we started a party. Of course, at first we had a festive dinner. My relatives and I cooked a lot of tasty things, and my friends ate everything with pleasure. Some time passed and we started an entertaining part of the party. We told a lot of funny stories and jokes. Our company danced a lot. We danced slow dances. It was so romantic!

When it was time for blowing the candles out on the cake, I felt it was the most incredible moment of my life. Now I’m a boy of 13 and I shall never forget my 13th birthday.

A dog as a present...

One of the best days in my life was when I got a dog as a present. I was very surprised because I always wanted to have one. It happened in the morning and I had all day to play with her. She was happy to play with me, I hope. She bit me a little, ran, jumped and groaned at me. Some hours passed and my father and I bought a rein and a collar, and, of course, some food for her. She hated rein most of all, because she didn't like to walk with me in it. That day will stay in my life for a long time. We named her Nica. She's not big, black and a smart dog. I like her!

My Working Day

In our life we have weekends and holidays; it's certainly more pleasant to speak about a holiday than about workday routine, but this everyday routine makes up an essential part of my life.

At 7.00 an alarm clock wakes me up and my working day begins. Actually I'm not fond of getting up early, but I'm already used to do it. I make my bed and go to the bathroom. There I brush my teeth and if I'm not short of time I take a shower. A 7.45 I'm ready to have breakfast. Breakfast, as doctors say, must be the most substantial meal of the day. But I have neither time, nor inclination to cook it, so I just have a cup of coffee and a couple of sandwiches.

I leave home at 8.00. My school is not far from my house and it usually takes me 20 minutes to get there. My classes begin at 8.30 a.m. and finish at 3 p.m. At 12 o'clock I usually have a bite at our school canteen.

When I'm back home, my parents are still at work. That's why I have to cook my dinner myself or just to take it from the fridge and warm it up. After hard work at school and a hearty dinner I feel like having a rest. So, after dinner I never do any serious work. Rather often I take a nap or listen to the music or watch TV.

Then it's high time to get down to my home assignments. It takes me about 4 or 5 hours to do my homework properly. Besides I have additional private lessons in English. Four times a week I go to the dance club. It helps me to keep myself fit and feel cheerful and active.

If I have one or two hours in my disposal before going to sleep I try to do something useful: I tidy up my room or help Mummy to cook supper. When the supper is ready we gather in the dining-room and while having a meal we share the day news and plan our next day. After supper I help Mummy to clear the table and to do the washing up. Then we watch TV till 11 o'clock. Then I have a bath and go to bed to get up early in the morning to begin everything anew.
