Description of "One Day" project

"One Day" is an ongoing iEARN project. You are welcome to submit a description of one typical day in your life. They will be listed as topics, and entries should be responses to the appropriate topic. You may share descriptions and comparisons of several cultures in this conference, not only ordinary days but special events for you and your relatives. You may read and write stories about vacations, birthday, graduation or other experiences in your life. You are invited to describe one day in your life.

1) Name of Project: A Day in the Life

2) Brief one-sentence description of project: Share the story of a day in your life.

3) Full description of Project: We invite you to share on this conference descriptions and cross-cultural comparisons not only of ordinary days but also of special days and events for you and your family. This writing might include accounts of holidays or celebrations, vacation or leisure days, memorable occasions such as a birthday, graduation, or the day you were born, or other experiences that have left an imprint in your memory and on your life. Any student is welcome to submit a description of one day in his or her life. The conference will be organized by listing different days as topics:

  • a) Presentation
  • b) An ordinary day
  • c) My best/worst day
  • d) My birthday
  • e) A special day in my town/province/country
  • f) School day
  • g) One day in spring/fall/winter/ summer
  • h) A different day
  • i) A happy/sad day
  • j) A day with my family
