A Day in the Life

My name is Badalyan Arpine. I study at a Secondary School N42 after
Shevtchenko in Yerevan, Armenia. I am a pupil of the 9th form. I¦d like
to tell you about some our subjects at school. We have lessons on
Economics and Civil Education. I like these lessons. They are very
interesting. We began to study these subjects a year ago. Now I¦d like
to tell you about our elections, which took place last year. So once our
class elected the President and the Parliament. All of them were from
our class. We chose the name of the city ((Lusastg¦), the flag and the
hymn.
Some months later the second elections took place. We had to elect the
President and the members of the Parliament again. I always dreamed to
become a Minister of Marketing. And at last my dream realized. My
friends elected me. I become the Minister of Marketing. I hope that one
day your dream will realize too.

A Day of My Life.

It was spring. I was walking in a lovely park .The morning breeze
fondled my brown hair. Watching the swans splendid dance .J came up to
the pond stepping lightly. While I was walking suddenly a
strongly-build, handsome young man with thick brows, whose name was
Flavio came up to me and suggested walking with him .I turned red with
sky then agreed .We were walking silently when we noticed a deserved old
man who was earning his daily bread playing the viola giving pleasure to
the passers v by.
Then we came up to the pond and sat down on the nearest bench to have a
rest. For a long time we were sitting in silence when suddenly Flavio
interrupted the silence suggesting our going to the museum. We went
there talking on our way .We had a wonderful time there. When we came
back from the museum we went along the way of the chapel to put candles
thank God for our meeting with Flavio.
A miracle happened that day of spring and it was an unforgettable day
for us.

A Day of the Life

This happened when we did not go to school yet. My friend Arthur and I
were alone in our flat. We told each other about the fantastic and
horror films we had seen. I told that I had seen a film about alien (man
from an other planet) who could enter the body of a man and speak in the
voice of the body proprietor.
My friend told he had seen a horror film in which the monster had four
hands. Suddenly the door was knockout at. Arthur and I put the chair at
the door, climbed on in and looked out through hole on the door. We saw
four hands, which wanted to open the door. Seeing the four hands a
shiver came over us.
With a shivering voice I asked who it was. My friends` voices were
hearted from behind the door. I hurried to open the door. But Arthur
took my hand. He said they could be alien in the bodies of our friends.
That frightened me. We began to ask where they lived, what their names
were, who their parents were. We wanted to know to whom we were opening
the door. Being sure that they were not alien but our friends we opened
the door and let the guests in.

One day of my life

I spent my summer holidays in Artashat ( the town in Armenia) with my grandfather last year. He grew flowers in his garden. We lived in the village with my grandfather and with our old dog. We watched TV in the evening and went to bed at 9 o’clock. We got up early in the mornings, fed our dog, rabbits, watered flowers. So we did this for a few days. But once my grandfather went out early in the morning and said he would be back late.

It was day light. The morning was wonderful. The sun was shining brightly. I was waken up by the birds hubbub. After some time went to walk with the dog. Suddenly not far from us I saw a trange thing like a huge, gray plate in the sky. The plate went down and a strange creature came out. At first I was afraid, but then I looked at him and aw a green face, two little horns and goggle – eyed. I understood he belonged to another civilization, he was from another planet. I approached to the stranger and extended my hand to make the acquintance of him. His name was Po. He told me about his planet, about their life, about his passions. He told the people was green there, trees were orange and birds were coloured. There were no schools and children learnt by computers. I told him about our planet and our life. We liked one another very much. Po promised to visit me some other time and we said good bye.

In the evening my grandfather came back and I told him about my new friend. Of course he didn’t believed me and said: “You are my dreamer”.

It’s a pity dogs can’t speak. My dog was the only witness who had seen Po. I shall not forget that day even if he will not come again.

Hello! My name is Gayaneh. I live in Yerevan. I study in the 9th form at
school
N 42 after T. G. Shevchenko.
I want to tell you about one day in my life.
In April 20th the group of pupils and teachers from Armenia and me took
part in the I*EARN conference that had to take place in Moscow, the
capital of Russian Federation. And here is that very hour. At school
where our conference took place we met with our coevals. We gave them
small presents as souvenirs. A lot of schoolchildren from many cities
took part in that conference. Those pupils which had to have speeches
were gathered behind the scenes. I and one boy from another school were
among them. We all were waiting for our turn and worried very much.
And at last our speeches were announced. The friendly looks in the hall
gave us confidence and our speeches had a great success. A lot of guests
of other cities sang and danced. It was interesting and merrily. We
learnt a lot of new things.
I had to dance on many scenes and many times but I have never had
speeches before. It was my first step into something new. We enjoyed
that trip to Moscow very much. We shall always remember the sightseeing
of that city. And the main thing we made o lot of friends and exchanged
of opinions addresses and souvenirs.
Thank the program I*EARN for it is existence and for it units all
children in the world.
Thank you! Gayaneh.
